This beginner-friendly class introduces participants to the core tools and features of Microsoft Word, including creating, formatting, editing, and saving documents. Learn how to work with fonts, spacing, margins, templates, bullets, images, and basic document design while gaining practical skills for personal, academic, and professional use. Through hands-on instruction and guided practice, participants will leave feeling more comfortable navigating Word and creating polished documents with ease. Lunch is provided.

Explore the colorful world of watercolor painting in this relaxed and creative class designed for beginners and continuing artists alike. Learn foundational watercolor techniques and discover how to create the effects and styles you want while painting simple scenes and working from photographs. Participants are encouraged to bring a favorite photo for inspiration—whether it’s a natural scene, fall landscape, bird, flower, or portrait—and will receive guidance and support in creating original watercolor paintings from reference images. Work at an unhurried pace in a welcoming environment. All art materials are provided.

Participants will be introduced to the exciting world of drone technology through hands on learning and interactive activities. Participants will explore various drone technologies and concepts from a high-level perspective, including different types of drones, flying styles, and drone design. Following the educational session, participants will work together to build their own drone obstacle course and have the opportunity to practice flying drones while logging beginner flight time in a fun and engaging environment.

Discover the fun and relaxing world of chunky knitting in this beginner-friendly, hands-on workshop! You will be exposed to simple finger- knitting techniques and basic stitches using soft, oversized yarn to create your own cozy starter piece. All materials are provided; no experience necessary.
