Country Barn Farm First Year Beekeeping Class

This classroom-based course introduces honeybee biology and the fundamentals of beekeeping, providing students with the knowledge and skills needed to successfully managetheir own hives during the first year. Country Barn Farm offers all the necessary beekeeping supplies, and students are encouraged to purchase and assemble their equipmentbefore class. The course is taught by Joseph Zgurzynski, a Master Beekeeper with over 30 years of experience and owner of Country Barn Farm in Glenshaw, PA. The requiredtextbook is Storey’s Guide to Keeping Honey Bees by Richard E. Bonney and Malcolm T. Sanford, which students should obtain and read prior to class if possible. Thai Chi: The Original 13 Postures

In this course you will learn the Original 13 Postures of the Yang style of Tai Chi. You'll learn the physical movements, along with the spiritual and philosophical components of this ancient exercise. Dr. Bisceglia has taught Tai Chi for over 45 years and has published several books on the subject. He has studied with several Tai Chi Masters in both America and Taiwan. The instructional objectives of this course are to meet the needs of all levels of interest and physical abilities.
