Explore the colorful world of watercolor painting in this relaxed and creative class designed for beginners and continuing artists alike. Learn foundational watercolor techniques and discover how to create the effects and styles you want while painting simple scenes and working from photographs. Participants are encouraged to bring a favorite photo for inspiration—whether it’s a natural scene, fall landscape, bird, flower, or portrait—and will receive guidance and support in creating original watercolor paintings from reference images. Work at an unhurried pace in a welcoming environment. All art materials are provided. 

What do you love to look at, birds, flowers, your children or grandchildren, pets, paintings by master artists? Learn to draw your favorite people and things! Bring in photographs you would like to make drawings from. Each week, you will get guided help in class & inspiration for more drawing practice between classes! We will begin by playing with our supplies to find out how to make a variety of marks, lines and shading types, and then move on in later classes to sketch from the photos you bring in. All drawing materials are provided.
