Lunch and Learn: Microsoft Word Essentials

Build confidence using one of the most widely used workplace programs in Microsoft Word Essentials! This beginner-friendly class introduces participants to the core tools and features of Microsoft Word, including creating, formatting, editing, and saving documents. Learn how to work with fonts, spacing, margins, templates, bullets, images, and basic document design while gaining practical skills for personal, academic, and professional use. Through hands-on instruction and guided practice, participants will leave feeling more comfortable navigating Word and creating polished documents with ease. Lunch is provided.

Modifications and supportive props, including blocks, bolsters, and straps, will be available to help students practice comfortably and confidently at their own pace. Introduction to 3-D Printing and Design

Join us for an introduction to the School of Industrial Technology while exploring the exciting world of 3D printing and design! Learn about additional program offerings, hands-on career pathways, and the growing opportunities within industrial technology fields. In this interactive workshop, participants will learn how to turn creative ideas into physical reality using cloud-based 3D modeling software. Students will create digital designs, prepare files for additive manufacturing, and have their finished project 3D printed at CCBC to take home.
